Heiter X is an artist-designer exploring the relationship with food, people, and the environment. Through sculptural objects and multi-sensory experiences, she explores how deeply connected we are to the materials and ecosystems around us. Her work invites a more conscious way of seeing and being—grounded in the belief that consciousness shapes reality.
She uses edible installations, sculptural serveware, and collectible design to shift how we engage with everyday materials—especially food, the most intimate material we consume. Inspired by the idea that all matter holds energy and life, her work reveals the vitality of objects and encourages mindful interaction.
Her connection to nature began in childhood, shaped by visits to ancient Estonian landscapes—sacred groves, springs, and burial mounds—and by the knowledge of plants passed down by her grandmothers. These early experiences fostered a deep sense of belonging within the living world.
Fascination with raw forms, stones, and found objects informs her exploration of unseen energies and spaces—those felt rather than observed. Drawing on a background in landscape architecture and food design, she creates pieces that feel both grounded and otherworldly—works that stir emotion, evoke presence, and quietly transform the spaces they inhabit.
